Holiday in a hotel near Lake Constance

A gorgeous landscape with colourful butterflies in flowering meadows and an almost Mediterranean climate await visitors to Lake Constance, which consists of the Obersee, Untersee and Seerhein, many small islands such as the famous Mainau. There are plenty of places to see in nearby Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Liechtenstein and France and Italy are only two hours away.

Easy to drive here due to the central location and good roads or come by plane to one of the nearby airports in Zürich, Friedrichshafen, Stuttgart or Munich.

Konstant is the largest town by the lake, the german-swiss border runs through the centre and the river Rhine flows through the medieval old part of the city. Nearby the spectacular path in the Marienschlucht waits for visitors to admire the natural beauty of the steep walls of the gorge, the narrow path and mountain stream flowing through it. The waterfalls at Schaffhausen in Switzerland, the largest in Europe,150m wide and 24m high are very popular with tourists., the view from the Rheinfallbecken (basin) is particularly impressive. In Salem the Ape house full of lively Barbary apes is popular with families. Children love animals. Waterfowl and fallow deer tolerate the antics of the apes. There are many trails through the park for walking or riding a bike.
